Spotlight on Linda Lewis Kitchens Ltd

Linda Lewis Kitchens became a new CESA member this August and happily agreed to answer a few questions for us to introduce themselves.

  1. Tell us about how your business got started.

After years spent working for other people in the catering equipment industry, Linda decided to create a company that had one vision, to help others achieve. She won the UK contract for the Cuppone brand and stormed into the market pledging honesty, sincerity and only the highest quality products for her customers.

  1. What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?

Being able to help people! Our passion at LLK is to ensure all our lovely customers get it right from the very beginning. Sadly, 60% of restaurants fail in the first 12 months, mainly due to the lack of groundwork: LLK are determined to change that statistic. Using our knowledge and time served in the catering equipment industry, we help educate our customers from the very beginning of their journey to success. With a little help from our bistro style demonstration kitchen and the passion of our development chef Fabio, we have been helping our customers be remarkable in a competitive market since 2006.

  1. What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?

The uncertainty of the UK economy today. Although we will continue to plough through any obstacles, we think it would be nice if our new leader considered how his actions and decisions will effect SME’s who import from the EU like us.

  1. What are the drawing factors for joining CESA?

Recommendations from our associates in the industry and technical guidance. The training available to us through CESA is invaluable, as a company LLK invest a lot in our people and their self development.

  1. Anything else you’d like to add?

Team LLK are looking forward to meeting new faces, getting involved in CESA events/training and maybe even hosting a few too (beware, we are feeders)!
